The Chicago branch of Classic Party Rentals was awarded four very prestigious awards at a ceremony held on April 20, 2010 at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Ind. ?
The ninth annual awards ceremony was held by The National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) and the International Special Events Society (ISES), and is a celebration to honor the achievements of hospitality and special event industry professionals. The awards night was attended by Chicago area’s event planners, florists, caterers, decorators, event site managers, destination management companies, and other professionals providing services in the party and event service industry.
The criteria for winning was a strict set of standards for outstanding programs, services, and products provided by industry professionals throughout the year. Classic Party Rentals was awarded four NACE/ISES awards which included:
“Best Use of Tenting? for The Kentucky Derby, ?Best Use of Rental Equipment? for Lolapalooza, ?Best Logistical Achievement? for The Kentucky Derby and ?Best N.I.C.E. Team Event? with Tasty Catering for the Sherman Health Foundation Charity Polo Event. ?We were particularly pleased to win the Team Award with Tasty Catering since they are such a valued client of Classic Party Rentals,? said John Haener, general manager.
Also, Sandy Sobczak, senior sales consultant for Classic, won the ?N.I.C.E. Lifetime Achievement Award,? which recognizes an individual who as given?time, dedication, leadership and knowledge toward the advancement of the special events industry. John Rudy, Classic?s director of sales and marketing, said, ?Classic is very fortunate to have such a dedicated and enthusiastic team member and we can?t be more proud of Sandy?s achievement.?
