Rentcharlie.com is a great place for rental companies and property management companies to advertise, but did you know individuals can use it too? Renting out your stuff is a great way to earn some extra cash. And for the renter, it saves money so you don’t need to go out and purchase occasionally used items. Earn Cash by renting out your stuff
If you think about

it, we’ve all been on both sides of the situation. Like many people, I have amassed an assorted collection of stuff, and there are many things I seldom, if ever, use. Now, I could be wasteful, and simply throw things out, but I have a real problem with being that wasteful. I could donate items, or sell things, which I sometimes do, but there is still all that stuff that I keep telling myself I might use again, one day.

In the meantime, I could be earning some extra cash from those items, by renting them out to others who have occasional need of them. And really, most of us can always find a use for a bit of extra cash. Pay some extra bills, or perhaps save up for a trip, there’s always a use for some extra dough.

So what could I rent out? I have lots of sports equipment that I’m not using. Skates, rollerblades, skis, bikes, fishing gear, etc. I don’t want to get rid of any of it, as I will use it again, but rather than sitting in my garage, it could be making another person happy, and making me money.

I also love photography, and I have never gotten rid of any of my cameras. Renting out my camera gear could earn me a lot of cash, and really help out a student, or another photography enthusiast.

Baby gear
is another thing I have a lot of, but I’m not ready to part with yet. By renting it out another parent could really save some money, by not having to purchase some expensive baby items, that are only used? for a short time.

These are just some of the things I have, and I know that many others have similar items sitting in their basements or garages, that could be earning extra cash.

On the other side of the situation, perhaps I wouldn’t have had to buy all this stuff, especially things I knew I’d only need for a short time, if I could have rented them.

If more people could get into the renting mindset, it can earn them a lot of money, as well as save them a lot of money. It’s an idea that’s starting to grow in North America, and here at Rentcharlie.com, we hope to see the renting philosophy catch on even more, as renting has many benefits for everyone, and for the environment.

In the coming weeks we’d like to hear more from you on how we can make the renting philosophy, and our website work better for individuals. There are certain issues to address, to make it work for everyone involved. Things such as disclaimers, how does the individual renting out their stuff get paid, setting up times for individuals to exchange rental items, privacy, and other legalities to make sure all parties are protected.

The global economy being what it is, it may be time for the era of mass consumerism to come to an end, and time to start embracing alternative ideas, such as renting.
